JOINING OUR CLUB
Full Draw Field archers enjoy having new people turn up to have a go. Whether you are a new archer or getting back into the sport, we are a club for all, and we survive on membership. Archery is good for getting out and about. It is a sport that challenges you mentally as well as physically at times, and it is an individual sport where people can be as competitive or social as they want. It tends to be like one big family when attending competitions.
Temporary Membership @ FDFA
To participate in FDFA’s instructional activities, all non-members must first obtain a Temporary Membership. This membership allows you to experience archery through a series of up to three instructional visits. These visits can be scheduled at your convenience, spread out over time.
Please note that Temporary Membership is separate from our Probationary Membership, or Full Membership. If you find yourself wanting to explore archery more frequently beyond the three visits, it is very important that you consider joining FDFA as a full member.
Understanding Probationary Membership @ FDFA
Probationary members are those who wish to take up archery and join Full Draw Field Archers. A 90-day probationary period applies to all new applicants.
During this period, you can participate in our regular Club Practice Days under the supervision of our ABA-qualified coaches. Once assessed as competent by one of our Club Coaches, you may, utilize the practice range and participate in club shoots out on our other Ranges.
After the three-month probationary period, your probationary membership will expire, and you must obtain a financial ABA membership to continue participating in FDFA activities. Please note that Probationary Membership is only available at the Club Level. Probationary Members are not eligible to participate in ABA Branch, State, or National competitions during their probationary period.
Your membership will not be processed until the appropriate form is received by the Membership Secretary, and it is confirmed that the payment has been made.

Activity Provider.
Families are welcome to use Fair Play Vouchers to help cover the cost of their children's membership and shoot fees at the Club. As an approved activity provider, FDFA accepts these vouchers, valued at $200, to ease the financial burden of getting kids involved in archery. If you already have a voucher or are planning to apply for one, please speak to one of our administration members to ensure it’s used in the best possible way.
